To prophecy is a huge tool God gave to us! I have experienced the last 4 four year the power of it. Do you believe that God uses you to touch peoples heart by encouraging them.
I have seen many people who are touched by the words of God through people who just said something nice and comforting!

Profeteren is bemoedigend, opbouwend en vertroostend. Met als doel; dat mensen zullen erkennen dat God in ons midden is. Dat wil hij ook in ons leven persoonlijk. (1 Cor 14:24,25)

God spreekt op verschillende manieren: beeldspraak (Ezechiel 17:1-10 over israel), raadsels (Ez 21:5) , Dromen (Gen 28:11-15 jacob, Hand 27:23,24) en beelden (Num 12:8, Dan 5:12)
Valkuil is om uitleg te bedenken, je niet laten leiden door non-verbale reaktie van mensen oid, maar afstemmen op God door Zijn Geest (1 Sam 16:6,7). Krijg je een indruk door beeld heen, mischien wel reclame, vraag dan aan de Heilige Geest wat hij door die reclame wil vertellen aan jou of een ander. (Dan 2:28)
Profeteren omvat ook kennis en wijsheid (Joh 1:42-49)
Heb je een indruk; zeg tegen persoon in kwestie dat je het idee hebt dat……
Als je profeteert naar iemand let op: fysieke houding, oefen veel, non-verbaal dus niet fronsen e.d., bid of spreek, wees duidelijk.
Spreekt God nou of ben ik het? Je mag weten dat God in jou is en en jij in God (1 Joh 4:15)
Hindernissen; eigen mening, kwetsingen/bitterheid, zonde en binding, oordelen !!
Profetie is ook voor; richting/visie gemeente (Ef 2:20), taakstelling (Hand 13:1-3)

Vraag aan Gods Geest inspiratie en je zult verbaasd zijn!

To prophecy is a must as we read in 1 Cor 14. My desire is to do this more and more. With serveral purposes. To bring people to Jesus by encourging them, comforting them and build peoples lifes. I discovered it is not something magic it is real and God tries to talk a lot through our lives. Most of the time we do not recognise it. Is that something you desire to or want to talk about it, write on this log!
